☀️ The sun was shining as the Keep Australia Beautiful WA team celebrated @UNWorldOceansDay with a beach cleanup on Rottnest/Wadjemup! 🧹 They removed 1,914 litter items (46kg!), including 1,093 plastic bits, 169 rope scraps & 134 plastic film pieces. Let’s #BeatPlasticPollution

1,300 pieces & 66kg of #litter was removed from North Cottesloe beach on Monday. #KABCWA teamed up with Eco Surf Australia & students from PLC, Scotch College & MLC for the 7th #PlasticFreeJuly #BeachCleanup. Nearly ¾ tonne of litter has been removed from this beach in 7 years!
