Finally had my CT scan to check the scar tissue in my abdomen and see if there’s anything else going on…..

Just spoken to new lady on the ward She’s struggling badly mentally I held her hand She opened up to me I talked things through with her I was then told I should be a counsellor Feel very humbled…… 🥺

I’m being referred to surgical team for another stomach tube. The only issue is that it’s going to be my old consultant from a couple of years ago who has been refusing to do one for me so far. I bet he refuses again…… 🥲😡

Just met a young man on my ward who is followed around by 2 members of staff constantly. He’s here for his mental health issues. I told him I understood as I suffer myself. I also made him laugh because I told him his beard was cool! Never be ashamed to admit MH issues to me…💚

Just had a bit of a moment. Tears flowing. My Jake is struggling again mentally and I’m stuck in here. I spoke to him on the phone and helped as much as I could. I hate being away from my kids but I have no choice right now. See I’m not that strong really…. 🥲💚
