The Super Pac-Man plug 'n play console from Jakks Pacific was once going to include Jr. Pac-Man Its sounds and music can still be heard in the sound test for the Retro Arcade Featuring Pac-Man unit This would have been the only arcade-perfect port of the game for a home release

Pac-Man was one of the characters represented in the Disney XD Mystery Morphing Mask item published into the Roblox avatar shop in 2014 as part of a cross promotion between the game and the network The mask would resemble one character, then turn into another in a matter of days

Pac 'n Roll follows the story of a young Pac-Man spending time at the home of Pac-Master for training to fight ghosts. While there, he meets with Pac-Master's daughter, Pac-Girl. Japanese promotional materials confirm that this character is Ms. Pac-Man as a young girl.

While Ms. Pac-Man does not make an appearance in Pac-Man World 2, a picture of her can be seen in the game's ending This is actually a still from the opening cutscene of Pac-Man Fever, where she can be seen stretching Pac-Man Fever released nearly 7 months after Pac-Man World 2

Several unused sprites for bonus items exist in the files for Jr. Pac-Man. They include a skateboard, cowboy hat, rattle, baby bottle, pogo stick, and pacifier. It is worth noting Jr. Pac-Man started development as "Pac-Baby" (not to be confused with the 1982 game, Baby Pac-Man)

A recently unearthed Atari 5200 tech demo cartridge named "Slide Show" provides a static glimpse of some video game concepts for a touch tablet peripheral. One concept is labeled "Pac-Maziac" and appears to be a pitch for a Pac-Man maze builder game.

Gashapon machines make a return from Pac-Man Museum+ for the figures mechanic in Pac-Man World 2: Re-Pac. Sue's Arcade contains ten machines, and there are up to 250 figures to collect in all. As before, coins will be needed for them, though some figures can be found in levels.

The December 1983 issue of Electronic Games magazine contains an article showcasing a sample of the deluge of letters the folks at Hanna-Barbera received throughout Pac-Man's time on the air.

If you are going to be in Seattle, Washington at any point from August 29th to September 1st, you'll be able to sample Pac-Man World 2: Re-Pac at Bandai Namco's booth for PAX West at the Seattle Convention Center. Two levels will be playable via a hands-on demo for the event.
