We started our day with a tour at Justin Bell dairy farm in Cavan. Justin is a Ridgetown Agriculture Diploma grad that recently started his Organic Dairy farm with the new entrant program. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and experiences with our group today! Ridgetown Campus


Our second stop today was Crovalley Holsteins Thanks for hosting our group today and for touring us through the farm! A very informative and interesting tour, students enjoyed hearing about how you market your genetics and about how you manage your operation. Ridgetown Campus


We started our morning with a tour of Wynands Farms. Thanks to Ryan, Aneka and Cydney for showing us around the farm and sharing more info about your cows production and nutrition and management of your herd. Ridgetown Campus


Our 2nd stop today was Clearydale Farms. We really enjoyed hearing about the farm and the innovation and unique features they have. Students enjoyed hearing more about the on farm digester and seeing how the digestate is able to be pressed and used for bedding. Ridgetown Campus


Thanks to the Droogh family at Shadylane Farms for hosting us for a tour this afternoon! Students enjoyed hearing about your breeding strategies and management decisions on your farm and seeing your DeLaval Canada robots in action. Ridgetown Campus


Our final stop was at Donnandale Farms. Tyler toured us through their new barn and students got to see the new rotary parlour with robotic cleaning arm. Thanks to Tyler for sharing so much about how he manages his herd. This was a great finish to a great week! Ridgetown Campus
