50 years ago I came to Southern University as a 17-year-old freshman. Who knew this is where I'd meet my wife of over 40 years, receive transformative mentorship, begin a lifetime of advocacy and today be honored in the athletic hall of fame. There are no words. I'm just so grateful🙏🏽
