During unrest after the killing of George Floyd, Dr. Mark T. Esper said he did not support the use of the Insurrection Act, a step needed to respond w/ active-duty troops. It angered Trump. Tonight, Pete Hegseth has proactively raised the possibility of active-duty responding.
