Just told my 11yo daughter that Rishi Sunak didn’t have Sky TV when he was a child. I meant it as a joke. The look on her face was pure horror. So Rishi has sympathy from at least one person.

All true but ignores that: 1. They were his rules and penalties that he expected the rest of to follow and accept. 2. When some of his staff did similar (few drinks and some cheese) he said he was "furious", ordered a cabinet office inquiry and accepted their resignations.

After today's speeches and having heard from all of the candidates at least twice over the past four days in Birmingham it's got to be James Cleverly for me. Hopefully MPs will put James through to the final two so that I can cast my vote for him.

My parents, my wife’s parents and most over sixties I know are in that orange left hand column. Those ‘under occupied’ rooms are where their grandchildren sleep when they’re visiting. A heinous over indulgence that should be forsaken rather than just building some more houses.

This is a very interesting question. Very often I hear parenthood being described as though it is a project and an all consuming and intensive one at that as opposed to something to be enjoyed.

This is really really depressing stuff from my party. It's great to see young people involved in politics and this is a dreadful attack.
