We’re talking #personalbranding for dancers and performers at Artists 4 Artists today. Be distinctive, be relevant, be consistent to build strong relationships with your audience. #dancer #careeradvice

Another amazing exhibition promoting diversity from artist/activist/curator/superwoman Caitlin Mavroleon x.com/CaitMavroleon/…

'The connection between writing and dancing has been much on my mind recently: it’s a channel I want to keep open... for me the two forms are close to each other: I feel dance has something to tell me about what I do.' Zadie Smith brainpickings.org/2018/03/08/zad…

Researching history of dance as I write a piece on Nathalie Teitler for culturised. I am struck by the way Pina Bausch turned the dance world on its head by posing questions to dancers as a form of choreography instead of presenting answers. There is much for poetry to learn.

Also struck by the changing role of the (female) body in the history of Western dance. A tale of objectification/oppression, enlightenment & of pushing back borders/bounderies to reach empowerment. So much respect for the female choreographers I know Ella Mesma, @MaxDanceProj

It's #WorldPoetryDay and two of our favourite #poets are Pablo Neruda and GabrielaMistral two #chilean #NobelPrize for literature. Argentinian leoboi.xx is also a favourite. Read #SouthAmerican poets!
