We are thrilled to share that DWP has been selected as one of the Ontario Brain Institute's cohort of GEEKs! Thank you OBI for supporting our work and helping us share the joy and benefits of dance with people living with Parkinson's and other neurological conditions.

Yesterday, Sarah had the honour of sharing the benefits of dance as part of the Ontario Brain Institute’s “Breakthroughs in Brain Health” panel. Watch to learn how dance can help create and strengthen neuropathways that will keep our brains healthier, longer. linkedin.com/posts/dancing-…

It was a great day at PorridgeforParkinson connecting with partners and friends in support of Parkinson's research! sarah robichaud, Jeanne Beker, Harry Forestell, Dr. Tony Lang and One Step Ahead Mobility!

DWP was honoured to share how we are asking better questions and learning dancers stories & experiences in “The Potential of Developmental Evaluation to Lead to Integrated Brain Health Solutions”, a webinar with Ontario Brain Institute and the Eval. Centre for Complex Health Interventions.

Recently, Sarah Robichaud & Dance for PD® founding teacher, David Leventhal, led an intensive teacher training at Canada's National Ballet School, sharing how to deliver an exceptional dance experience for people living with PD. Calling all dance teachers! If you're interested in learning more, DM us!

Our list of in-person classes at seniors residences and long term care homes is growing! Check out where we are dancing via the link in our bio. Interested in having DWP lead a class for residents at your organization? Email us at [email protected].

We love when our online dance community meet in real life! Last month, Ruth and Marjorie, from Hamilton and Durham, met when they were both in T.O. seeing Don Quioxte at the Canadian Opera Company. It just goes to show that real and meaningful connections are possible through Zoom!

We loved Swaggering with all of the participants at the Parkinson Canada SuperWalks across Canada! vimeo.com/1015384749
