Huge global impact aside, right now I’m heartbroken for the ppl I’ve listened to in NY this week who told me reasons why they feared this result, & all the people already suffering here- sleeping in doorways, walking around with no shoes, clearly very unwell. What do they do now?

I’ve been here 6 days. On Friday it was warm Tshirt weather, Saturday was chilly, Monday I had a jumper, coat, hat & gloves on. Today I’m in a vest top and I’m sweating. It’s 25 degrees. So great that a climate change denier has just been elected President of a global superpower.
