We're frequently asked why offer in-bore biopsies when other targeting approaches work well. We're also asked why care about very small lesions. #ProstateCancer size doesn't always matter. Steven S. Raman MD, FSAR, FSIR Neil Rofsky, MD, MHA Ivan Pedrosa

Anterior base lesions are among the toughest to properly sample. First core was GG1 then increasing volume of GG2 for cores 2-4. Blood in the bladder was very obvious. Patient recovered well. UTSW Radiology

THANK YOU to all our rad techs who are our face to the patients and without who we would not be able to do our work, before, during and after covid-19, we appreciate you!!! UTSW Radiology

Exactly 10 years ago I was having a breakfast with Neil Rofsky, MD, MHA in Chicago that would be a turning point in my life. A great turning point 😁. These are things that the virtual environment does not allow but we're thankful for it and will be ready to socialize when appropriate

Dear Baris Turkbey MD thanks for highlighting our work. Very proud of our MS N. Subramaniam who has put together an informative and visually appealing paper showing that # of cores matters even with a 🎯 targeting technique. UTSW Radiology Ivan Pedrosa Neil Rofsky, MD, MHA Alberto Diaz de la rosa

With #ProstateMRI even when you're "wrong" you're right nearly 2/3 of the time according to doi.org/10.1097/ju.000… Samir Taneja and colleagues found #ProstateCancer in 63% of men on follow-up for initial negative biopsy for #PIRADS 4 or 5

Phenomenal program, UTSW Radiology we're lucky to partner with fellows from this program both for clinical and research purposes
