FWIW, I voted for Dublin Progressive Alliance candidate Cllr. Daniel Ennis who has done admirable work in his community and across the city on inclusion, anti-racism + to uplift working class communities.

I am so delighted to share the news that I was co-opted to DCC tonight for the South West Inner City working alongside @jencummins5 and Tara Deacy. 💜 The young people I work with from this area are some of the best people I’ve known & to work on their behalf is an honour.

I wish I could say I’m shocked by the result - but again, it was all predetermined. I feel it’s especially shameful on the Cllrs that come from & represent, working class communities. Again, they support the parties that have overseen the neglect of our communities for decades.

Since the launch of the DCSCN on Monday, we have welcomed more new members & we are proud to announce - we are approaching 50 clubs, representing over 10,000 members. The Network brings together sports clubs from D 1, 3 & 7 - with plans to roll it out - citywide.

More respect for our clubs, More respect for our communities, And more respect for anyone that calls the North Inner City home.
