Last week’s plane crash leaving the Indian city of Ahmedabad, which claimed 270 lives, has deeply impacted communities in Uxbridge and South Ruislip, and beyond. I raised this in Parliament, asking what the UK government is doing to support those affected by this tragedy.

A constituent contacted my office after receiving a bill for over £30,000 from the DWP, following their identity being stolen. We worked with the Department’s Stolen Identity Team and successfully had the bill written off. If you need help, email [email protected]

I attended the launch of Making Space for Water, a campaign aimed at reviving and protecting the rivers we love so much—like the River Pinn and the River Colne in Hillingdon. It's always great to learn more about what we need to do to protect our waterways.

I, alongside 5 other MPs, have written to the Mayor of London and Rail Minister about the need for more frequent Elizabeth line trains on the West Drayton branch. With nearly twice the passengers of the Heathrow branch, Uxbridge & South Ruislip must be served fairly.
