Nice pair of Memorial Day tribute wins against a good Yale squad today 1-0 and 10-0. Danny Vandevyver goes 8 innings to win game 1 and Cooper Letson twirls a 5 inning shutout in game 2. Big hits by Michael Blunden and Colin Gabler and incredible defense by Tucker Volkman.

One last shout out to our third captain, Danny Vandevyver . The stats speak for themselves. This kid pitched in all the toughest games for 3 years and still managed 19 wins!
Cooper Letson , Paul Muscat , and Danny Vandevyver have been the heart and soul of Mariner Baseball for three years. Great players but also great kids, posing here with the greatest kid, Team Manager and my son, Nolan Felax. Proud of all of them for many reasons.
