A pretty remarkable award for Westview Athletics’s Noah Bontrager here. After winning two IHSAA track titles and the New Balance Nationals Outdoor 5K recently, Bontrager has been named the Gatorade Player of the Year for Indiana Boys Track & Field.

Adam Neace, who has been coaching girls basketball at Culver Community the last two years, will be La Porte's next girls coach, pending school board approval July 2. Culver went 15-9 last season. La Porte has two wins over the last three years.
