What I learned last week after completing 51 1-to-1 coaching conversations w/NM Structured Literacy Coaches: ask more questions, listen, learn about your colleagues’ needs, ground decisions in student data, build capacity in others. Don’t try to be a fixer; it’s not about you!

If I were to redo my dissertation study, I’d want to learn more about the inner-workings of a central office. For example, how, if at all, are district departments aligned to support student need? Or how, if at all, do district supervisors model what they expect of teachers?

Back in the Bethel SD in OR to provide guidance on developing cross-curricular units using district-adopted curricula to include writing prompts and demonstrated mastery projects. This work will lead to future opportunities for #lessonstudy. #Studentfocusedcoaching #beachange

The Anxious Generation book - wow!! The findings have me asking myself so many questions. This might be an insightful book study for schools/districts. How much time are students required to use technology?
