We're thrilled to have formed an art partnership with Hackney Mosaic. Project founder Tessa Hunkin tells how volunteers are making a trail of beautiful bee and butterfly mosaics along the #HackneyBuzzline. We've installed the first pair of mosaics Kingsmead School E9 primary school.

We've made a nursery for mining bees in a new pollinator garden on the Hackney Buzzline. We've selected substrates based on six years of rigorous research into the preferences of ground nesting bees by Dr. Tsiolis from Pollinating London Together. We build habitats out of the best science.

I've been awarded the title of Honorary Research Fellow at Queen Mary University of London Queen Mary University of London. The position fits in the QMUL School of Geography Nature and Society theme. For the next three years, we'll be collaborating on research into ecosocial networks on the Hackney Buzzline.



We've got a new electric cargo bike for Xmas. The bike provides sustainable transport on the Hackney Buzzline. We're also using it to manage Hackney Council street parklets as pollinator havens, working with GrowN22. Thanks to Zero Emissions Network and The National Lottery Heritage Fund for funding.

NFA Partners with Marafiki Initiative to Promote Urban Tree Restoration in KCCA.
