Here's a report from Progress Playbook who spoke to National Park City Mark on the National Park City movement's ambitions for 2025. Following London in 2019 and Adelaide in 2019, we'll be joined by Breda and Chattanooga who are both set to join early next year. buff.ly/3Z8a4vG

Hackney Housing has planted 25,000 flowering bulbs on the Hackney Buzzline. They're now tucked in for winter on two council housing estates - ready to brighten the lives of residents next spring. Hackney Council cabinet member for the environment Sarah J Young explains.

We're thrilled to have formed an art partnership with Hackney Mosaic. Project founder Tessa Hunkin tells how volunteers are making a trail of beautiful bee and butterfly mosaics along the #HackneyBuzzline. We've installed the first pair of mosaics Kingsmead School E9 primary school.

Jamal, Mia, Cindy, and Najat joined the #HackneyBuzzline ecoteam Kingsmead School E9 school. Head teacher Evelyn Deeney asks them what they're doing for pollinators, why we need bees and butterflies, and how they chose two beautiful mosaics for their school, made by Hackney Mosaic.

We're so excited that Greening Kampala City Campaign is partnering with ecoACTIVE to fly the Hackney Buzzline idea 4000 miles away. Uganda is a country rich in bees and butterflies. We need to create a better future for pollinators all over the world.

We've made a nursery for mining bees in a new pollinator garden on the Hackney Buzzline. We've selected substrates based on six years of rigorous research into the preferences of ground nesting bees by Dr. Tsiolis from Pollinating London Together. We build habitats out of the best science.

Worrying signs from Starmer's speech that the Government is playing to the 'nature is woke' gallery and will sacrifice environmental protections for infrastructure development. When push comes to shove, it's always nature that gets the shove and the biodiversity crisis deepens.

Big flaw with Labour's 1.5m new homes – house-builders can't be trusted to add biodiversity, as this important Wild Justice study reveals: theguardian.com/environment/20… Simple solution: funding for proper inspection/enforcement/penalties.

We've got a new electric cargo bike for Xmas. The bike provides sustainable transport on the Hackney Buzzline. We're also using it to manage Hackney Council street parklets as pollinator havens, working with GrowN22. Thanks to Zero Emissions Network and The National Lottery Heritage Fund for funding.
