One more view from Sunday Street on the North Side from last week, this time featuring the steps more prominently. If this shot doesn't screen #Pittsburgh, I'm not sure what does. And check out that glow on the city...couldn't have worked out better.

A few days ago I went out to capture the moon over the incline and clouds blocked the view, but this morning the skies were clear early on over #Pittsburgh. And though the incline wasn't open and running, I love the way the upper station perfectly framed the moon.

Another view from that beautiful sunrise a few days ago in #Pittsburgh, this time with a tree framing the city on the West End. Though the vegetation on the hillside is blocking the city along most of the overlook, this first is still one of my favorites.

It looked like sunrise was gonna end up a bust in #Pittsburgh this morning, however there was just enough of an opening int he clouds to allow some light to shine through and illuminate the clouds above the city and South Side this beautiful vibrant pink. Heckuva morning.

A year ago this week I was starting a two week trip through the Netherlands and Italy for my brother's wedding, and I still have so many images that I've never shared. Amsterdam, pictured here, is one of my favorite places, and I can't wait to go back.

I don't focus on the moon and the Steel Building in #Pittsburgh very often, but it sure worked out well last week. The moon appeared to be balancing on the corner of the building as it lit up the thin clouds around it, making for a fun and unique scene.

Another set of images on my trip to Europe a year ago this week, this time from Haarlem in the Netherlands. I was there early in the morning and the streets were just so calm...it was like walking through a storybook. One of my favorite places on the entire trip.

A beautiful sunrise to kick off this Sunday morning in #Pittsburgh. I was surprised to see the rivers as calm as they were given how breezy it was, and while the reflection wasn't perfect it was more than enough to add to an already incredible scene.

Absolutely insane sunrise in #Pittsburgh today...might have been the best of the year, and we've had some good ones. The view from Grandview Ave on Mt. Washington was the perfect spot to watch it, and it took a panorama to capture the entirety of the color. What a scene.

Another view from this morning's beautiful sunrise in #Pittsburgh, and one of the last images I captured before the color began to fade. I've always loved this bench along Grandview Ave, and the tree framed the top of the scene perfectly.

Still going through images from that amazing sunrise a few days ago in #Pittsburgh, so here's another one featuring trees along Grandview framing the city. The color was just starting to really pick up, and made for an absolutely amazing background.

Though not as vibrant as the sunrise earlier this week, it was still a beautiful morning in #Pittsburgh. Just like the West End, Grandview Avenue is pretty overgrown at the moment, but I took the opportunity to frame the sky with the trees. Kinda looked like a jungle.

Figured I would dig back through some of my images from Italy, so here's one from inside the Vatican. As I was walking out, the light was shining through the windows and it quite literally stopped me in my tracks. Two different views, a colorful wide angle and a close up B&W.

A train passes below the Ft. Pitt Bridge in #Pittsburgh this morning as a handful of scattered clouds above the city catch the early morning light. Not a bad start to a Sunday.

Between the kids' last week of school, soccer, and my day job, life has been INSANE lately. Finally got out this morning to capture some of the fog in #Pittsburgh, and the colorful lights on the bridges made for a really cool scene on the North Shore. Hoping to catch up soon!

A foggy view from last Friday morning on the West End Overlook in #Pittsburgh. I used some of the overgrown foliage along the overlook to frame the city, and the trees helped add to the mood of the scene.

Another morning of chasing the moon around #Pittsburgh, this time capturing it above the Duquesne Incline. The clouds were in the perfect spot behind the upper station and provide this beautiful natural filter for the moon and gave the scene this soft glow.

Three years ago tonight was the night of the mammatus clouds over #Pittsburgh, and one of the most amazing sights of I've ever seen in the Steel City. I've never seen a sky like that before, and it was like I was looking at a painting no matter the direction I faced.
