Went to Philadelphia Zoo w/ living legend Dr. Helen Conrad Davies. The first & longest woman faculty member in Penn Microbiology at Penn Medicine where she won the school's Excellence in Teaching Award 16 times! Even at 95, she continues to be a strong advocate for women in science!

Penn Kidney, the field of medicine, and our entire community has lost a giant, Dr. Sidney Kobrin. He touched the lives of so many patients, colleagues, trainees, and he made the world a brighter place with his empathy, teaching, dedication and compassion. We will miss him dearly.
