We took Hannah to U.S. Military Academy at West Point and said goodbye. Hannah starts Cadet Basic Training (aka, Beast Barracks) for 6 weeks. Then, classes begin.

On Independence Day, we visited my parents’ and my sister’s gravesites.

As parents of a new cadet going through Cadet Basic Training at U.S. Military Academy at West Point, my wife & I are constantly searching for a glimpse of our daughter Hannah, in a video or a photo posted on a West Point parent’s social media site. Such a thrill & a relief every time we spot her.

I’ve done some type of martial art since I was a preteen. Today, I’m 65. The older I get, the more I reap the benefits of martial arts training. It’s not too late to start. Live a full life.

I’m in Las Vegas attending the WFG (World Financial Group) Conference with Dr. Yingzhang Lin & his wife. Kelvin Zhang from Philadelphia is here among 22,000 WFG insurance professionals.
