On Sunday, 193 Member States agreed on a #PactForTheFuture including 56 "action points" on climate change, global governance, Security Council reform, development, human rights & more. It was a pleasure to host colleagues from UN Development for this important dialogue. Warm thanks for your excellent contributions, which provided insights into ongoing capacity building efforts to strengthen engagement with credit rating actors.

Credit ratings play a critical role in the global economy, but are complex and controversial. We brought together experts in finance & policy to discuss how credit ratings work and how they can be improved. It was an honor to host such distinguished experts.

Over the past decade, UNU-CPR has been at the forefront of policy-focused research and capacity-building on issues critical to the UN and its Member States. Yesterday, we celebrated this milestone with UN colleagues, local collaborators and distinguished guests.

We look forward to supporting the Office of the President of the General Assembly over the course of the year and to collaborations in the areas of conflict prevention and global economic cooperation.

It was a pleasure hosting colleagues from the World Bank (Alex Gibbs, @Natalia Danilova, and Caroline Badra Sadacca) to discuss the 2025 World Bank shareholding review and how it could be used to advance transformative ideas in global economic governance and cooperation.
