Honoured to be part of the #WomensResilience Roundtable yesterday. While Phase 1 may be wrapping up, women’s leadership in climate and disaster resilience isn’t. It continues—and the need for it is more urgent than ever!

Great words from Tapan Mishra ! WRD sought to shift the narrative of disaster and climate action in the region, not positioning women as victims, but rather framing them to showcase their leadership, offering a different model of what resilience looks like in this region.

The speakers at the WRD roundtable inspired me. Not just by their presentations, but by the power of their real testimonies. One after another, they shared how this work is shifting narratives, centring women, and creating space for leadership that has too often been overlooked.
