Michael Buratovich Crohn’s disease can affect anywhere in the GI tract - sometimes this can be mild and out of reach of colonoscopy. MRI can be helpful but has a sensitivity around 90%. Capsule endoscopy has an additive value in diagnosing cases where MRI has been normal.
