Imagine a Bible where God never chooses to stand with the suffering. Imagine a Bible that never disrupted the privileged, wealthy, comfortable. Imagine the Beatitudes as non-descript and non-specific. That’s the problem with “All Lives Matter.” I don’t want this Bible:

In our program, we believe learning is both communal and personal. Students in professor Abby DeGroot's Content Area Reading course are using a tuning protocol to provide peer feedback on each other's lesson plans. #AllInThisTogether

Met with two of my classes for a final reflection on course goals today—in small groups, on Zoom. This fall was wild, but I’m so proud of what they learned this semester, despite all of it. They’ll be great teachers! DordtEDUC
