There is no replacement for showing up, day in and day out, to hone your craft. Show up. Do the work. Consistency is the name of the game.

My current supplement stack for those interested: ...nothing Look, some supplements can be beneficial to health or performance. But too often, we fall for marketing and cure-alls. Focus on what matters most: eat well, move often, sleep, have good relationships.

If you want to get better at what you love to do you first must love to do the little things the correct way all the time. In order to climb to the peak of a🗻, you must first be willing to take the first steps at the base. No detail is too small. Everything matters

Cross Country is a great metaphor for life. From the outside, it looks like an individual sport. A bunch of people running their own race. But in reality, it's a team sport. The sooner we embrace the team aspect, the better we perform, and the more joy and connection we create.

Fear often backfires. Fear is a short-term motivator. But when you employ it too often, you lose trust and shift people to being externally motivated. Building trust is much harder. But it pays off over the long haul.

Do you know when research tells us genuine connection occurs? The in-between times. When you are shooting the shit, filling space. Phones and our need for constant simulation has killed hanging out. And the end result is fewer deep meaningful relationships.

To get better, you have to struggle. The way your body and mind learn, adapt, and grow is to be slightly embarrassed. That frustration is the signal that our brain/body needs to adjust. If you want to learn and adapt, embrace the struggle.
