Welcome to Emory Barbara Krauthamer! I look forward to working with you!

Thrilled to honor Dr John Boring, the first chair of Epidemiology here Emory Public Health and hear from the great Keri N Althoff about lessons learned from the pandemic.

Dr. Helene Gayle is the honored commencement speaker at Emory Public Health 2023 graduation. “Public Health is grounded in the ideals of equity and social justice. It’s our North Star. We believe that health is a right and not a privilege.” Emory University Emory Epidemiology Spelman College

My first commencement at Rollins was such a meaningful, inspiring experience. Many thanks to our outstanding speakers Helene Gayle & Sabrina Chow for their words of wisdom, & to all who volunteered, including our wonderful leadership team pictured here. Congrats graduates!

The new advisory from the U.S. Surgeon General warning about the risks of social media use to the mental health of youth speaks to me as both a mother and a researcher. This report is a guide for parents and a call to action for researchers.

Congrats to Rollins’ own Michelle Kegler, director of Emory Prevention Research Center, for being named one of the most influential women scholars in health promotion. She’s recognized for her research and her community partnerships to create healthier environments for all. journals.sagepub.com/doi/full/10.11…

In recognition of Juneteenth, we want to highlight how racial inequity & racism continue to impact public health outcomes. Researchers at Emory Public Health are dedicated to making strides towards ending health inequities. Explore this thread for recent insights from Rollins experts.
