Last Saturday was DojoMór across Ireland! I hosted #Microbit Family Workshops in #PortlaoiseLibrary. Kids aged 6-13 used #Scratch to make controllers display various things. Even linked in to #TullamoreLibrary and Dean Hodge Laois County Council #STEMinAction #DojoMor2024

Our Munster Saturday #PLUS Club has just started here in UCC Ireland with physics, cybersecurity, Spheros and Vex on the agenda for today. With support from Rethink Ireland and expert advice from Dean Hodge and Miriam Walsh.

Tech educator extraordinaire Miriam Walsh taking learners through introductory programming for robotics, with today's rotation working on concepts like drive velocity.

Another component of today's programming-for-robotics challenge is working with AI object detection using a vision sensor. Depending on skill level, this introduces a programming path from Blocks to Python and C++.
