The Deans Lab
@deanssynbiolab
Our lab builds gene circuits to reprogram cells. We love all cells equally, but spend most of our time engineering stem cells. Account run by students.

.@TravisSeamons Jonathan Emmons Shwan Javdan Dr. Tara Deans (she/her) and co in the The Deans Lab demonstrate regulation of prokaryotic gene expression using a eukaryotic transcriptional activator go.nature.com/3k8MNWa

The amazing Shwan Javdan is at it again! He's been in the lab for 18 months (is that right?) and has just published a great review (šš¼)! He gets to add this to his collection of publications including a Nature Communications and a Trends in Pharmacological Sciences paper.

Such a proud moment! Shwan Javdan getting some teaching experience under his belt giving a workshop lecture on aligning and blasting sequences in my #SynBio synbio class! Great job Shwan!
