Yes I also found that comment a bit strange. My guess is Chad felt in that spot most value hands would check the river to the one card draw (since he is likely drawing to a very strong hand) but 1) this isn’t theoretically sound at all and 2) Texas Mike was drawing quite weak

Common misconception. It is the exact opposite. ICM for plo looks a lot like the chip leader raising 100% of hands and everyone else folding every hand except AA and sometimes folding that too.

I’ve got my notes done for limit Omaha high and NL 5 card draw already - maybe the two most polar opposite poker games I’ve ever looked at. Dealer’s Choice prep will be a fun deep dive into the “weird” games! I’ll let Alex Livingston handle the boring 10 game stuff :)
