All week, I've been editing my manuscript after a hiatus. I got 100 pages in when I realized, "I've made these edits before." I had opened an older version 🙄. Now, I have to reconcile the two versions and decide which 100 pages of edits I like better. 😭 #amediting #startingover

Went out with my friend who was having a hard day today. It turns out that a fudge cake, a vanilla milkshake, and a latte can make you feel better. 😋

As the rain falls outside my office window and thunder rumbles in the distance, my "smartphone" weather app continues to tell me we have fair weather with partly cloudy skies. ⛅️

Well, that was a first. The NZ police were doing breathalyzer tests on every car driver. The test was non-contact, not like I've seen on TV. You'll be happy to know I was driving sober at 6:30pm on a Wednesday.

Me: My gutters don't seem to be draining properly. Gardener: I found your problem.

These are NOT cat food, and the bathroom in this community center restroom is NOT under construction. Both were style choices. 🤣

So, I got a puppy 🥰. She's a chipoo, half chihuahua and half toy poodle. I'm also caring for her brother until the end of July, so sleep is not on my agenda, but they're so adorable, it's worth it.

Things you accidentally say when baby talking your puppy, "I don't like my cheddar sued." I meant, "I don't like my sweater chewed."

I hired a handyman to install the security lock on my new pet door, as I was feeling lazy and pressed for time. After 15 min, when he'd already drilled 2 holes in the wrong place on my slider, I told him to stop & said to leave. I then spent 3 hours fixing & installing it. 🙄

That's an excessive number of air fresheners! 😳

The part of my job that I dread the most: grading final exams 🙄.

I feel so privileged and seen 🥰.

So, I saw this at the airport and couldn't fathom what it was-- He's bleeding? Has a weird sunburn? Lost a bubblegum bet? But no! On closer inspection, some freakish, pink, alien jellyfish is stuck to his back! Is that even possible? 🤣🤣🤣

Sometimes, flying is worse than average. I had a middle seat between a grieving woman who cried all night and a large man, and THIS GUY who gripped over the seat behind his head 😳.
