I’m Voting No to: ◾️£7 billion in disability benefit cuts ◾️Driving over 400,000 people into poverty, including up to 100,000 children ◾️Impacting 3 million families, including 700,000 already in poverty These cuts will destroy lives. MPs must vote against.

The Gov's consultation on its PIP changes closes on 30 June. If you’re affected, please make your voice heard. It has not been well promoted by the Gov, so please take part if you can and share this link with friends and colleagues who may be impacted. buff.ly/EtqV9nQ

Fatigue is one of the most common symptoms of #arthritis. To those familiar with it, the idea that it’s simply ‘feeling a bit tired’ is a frustrating understatement. Here are five tips to help manage your fatigue: versusarthritis.org/news/2022/apri…

I understand the welfare system requires reform but the proposed cuts will push too many people into poverty & appear to confuse supporting people back to work with a benefit (PIP) which is not about work rather to help with the additional costs of disability. It needs a rethink.

These new changes will create a two-tier benefits system and an unequal future for disabled people. People who become disabled in the future will not have the same access to support. We're still urging MPs to vote against the bill next week. These changes don't go far enough.

❗️ The changes the UK government has announced will help protect some disabled people. BUT we need to make sure support is there for disabled people who will need it in the future. Being disabled isn’t a choice. Everyone should be supported when they need it.

The Disability Benefit Cuts Bill will unleash a domino effect of hardship for carers. Many are disabled themselves so in future won't get the support they rely on. PIP is a “passport” to Carer’s Allowance, some families will lose both - around £9,000 a year. I’m voting NO.
