The lab left me speechless with their Teachers day celebrations today! From decorating my office to thoughtful gifts to the most precious cards , I feel like I won the biggest jackpot 🎰 It’s truly touching to see the effort these guys put in 😭

We had open day CCMB today and the lab had a neuro themed scicomm exhibit where lab crew interacted with 1000s of students today🤯! We got so many kids excited about neuroscience and feel happy tired 😁❤️🧠

We had a unique scicomm experience yesterday! We talked to curious kids and parents at Sanjeeviah park at Hyd about all things Neuro! The questions ranged from - memory to repair to stem cells followed by hands on activities helmed by our crew and all in all a fun scicomm day!

Spinal cord neurons are famously long cells. If they get injured, their recovery depends on the distance between the site of injury and nucleus of the neuron, as shown by a recent study from Ishwariya Venkatesh's lab and her collaborators in Marquette University.
