Today saw the graduation of the latest crop of Army Chefs, they are capable and ready to deploy. Straight after their graduation ceremony in the field, they served lunch to troops from the The Army Air Corps, optimising our training output with other Units. DSLA

Continuous Professional Development matters and our instructors have been competing at the prestigious Salon Culinaire this week. With little prior experience they have shown what can be achieved with hard work and ambition. Silver, bronze and merit. Outstanding.

Great to participate in the ‘Herring’s Challenge’ Military Skills competition organised by 85 Squadron Training Team. A 5km weighted march, command task, a shoot and a military knowledge test. 2Lt Alfred Herring VC won the 105 years ago this week. #soldierchefs Command Wing DSLA

By sharing our skills we develop the whole FSTW team. This week, one of our instructors demonstrated his expertise as a master butcher to deliver the CPD Masterclass. Skills that will be used by the team in supporting our trainees in their development.Butchers' Livery Co. DSLA

Defence Engagement is all about showcasing our capability and 'wow' factor. We teach our Royal Navy Logistics Catering Service sailors the art of cocktail making, mixed with barista skills to make the perfect after dinner drinks. 🍸🍹 DSLA

An internet search will produce many principles to building a strong and successful team. A common theme is recognising and celebrating success. Today we publicly recognised six members of our team, for their hardwork, personal drive and commitment. Congratulations!! 🏆
