Today, 83 year-old Reverend Sue Parfitt from Bristol, was detained for holding a placard that read: “I oppose genocide. I support Palestine Action.” She was among dozens arrested for acts of defiance against the proscription of the direct action group by the UK Government.

Insane that the British Foreign Secretary can meet with the former leader of Al Qaeda in Syria while, at home, on the same day, his government arrested 20 people on 'terrorism offenses' for supporting a non-violent pro-Palestine protest group.

People are doing actual murder and real harm to tens of thousands of people in Gaza and in Palestine and we're worried about a bit of paint. Spread a bit of paint, and you're a terrorist. Murder 50,000 people, actually you're an ally.

Hi Crown Prosecution Service - you may need to look into the Met Commissioner’s potential contempt of court by releasing prejudicial details of an active trial on one of the UK’s highest-viewed politics television programmes… These people are so desperate to silence dissent. It will not work.

Russia? China? Trump’s US? Iran? How has the UK descended to a place where GENOCIDE-enablers are “respectable” and those desperately opposing GENOCIDE are silenced? Defend our Juries instagram.com/reel/DLvQcI6IT…

MOMENTS BEFORE ARREST 🔉sound on! You can see why the Home Office are so intimidated by this bunch of dangerous radicals. Their arrests surely have nothing to do with promises made to Elbit Systems in secret meetings uncovered through FOI requests… defendourjuries.org/free-political…

ONE of these two lead to an arrest under the Terrorism Act. Left - the Mail suggests that 83-year-olds holding a sign opposing both genocide and the proscribing of direct action groups is terrorism. On the (extreme) right - The Spectator suggests bombing a festival is alright.

This is quite a big deal: The Times, Britain's rightwing newspaper of record and a jewel in Murdoch's crown, has come out against the proscription of Palestine Action. Says the group is "an antisocial menace to public order" but not a terror threat.

83-year-old Reverend Sue Parfitt was arrested on Saturday under the Terrorism Act after allegedly supporting a proscribed group. In 2024, Sue spoke at our action in support of climate activists, stating her intention to continue to “interfere” in matters of global importance.
