Nobody except you is expressing fear of merit. Inclusion means making sure a wide diversity of qualified people have access to opportunities or the training and support which would make them ready for those opportunities. Why are you so afraid of an even playing field?

Had an amazing time interviewing Ramy Youssef for KCRW's The Business. He has amazing insights on how to discuss violence in Gaza today, along w/speaking on his animated show #1 Happy Family USA and playing a tech mogul in HBO's film Mountainhead. LISTEN: loom.ly/PxmWONU

After the final episode of Saturday Night Live's 50 anniversary season last night, I had thoughts on the show's future, including who might replace Colin Jost and Michael Che - if needed - and why their inconsistent political humor might not matter. READ: loom.ly/SxzAeZI

Wow! Looks like Netflix stepped up when the grouches at HBO Max fell down, striking a deal with Sesame Workshop to feature the new, 56th season of Sesame Street plus 90 hours of previous episodes.

Head of CBS News, Wendy McMahon, has resigned, citing tensions w/owners Paramount. This comes weeks after the head of CBS' storied newsmagazine, 60 Minutes, also resigned, citing similar issues amid pressure from Trump administration over a pending sale. loom.ly/IZc9GOo

Not exactly true. Apple TV+ has loads of kids programming, including new Peanuts specials. Paramount owns Nickelodeon. Disney+ has, well...Disney, including Bluey. Peacock has new eps of Curious George.

When I saw John Oliver's take on Trump and the press - a searing look at how the President is cowing big media companies to reign in coverage, filling the press corps w/sycophants - I had no idea how relevant today's resignation at CBS News would make it: loom.ly/KZgcmmg

Sesame Street didn't leave PBS. And it won't under this deal. But PBS cannot provide the level of funding alone they need to do the show. Especially facing federal funding cuts from the Trump administration.

Amid reports that CBS News' top executive is resigning, I had a lot of conversations with fans on whether they should boycott the network's news programs. Put my thoughts in this Substack post: loom.ly/q4nsH6o

Wow…more bending of the knee from Disney. Now top brass is telling The View to tone down its Trump criticism. loom.ly/uFyXYew

My thoughts on Substack about a documentary you should check out this holiday weekend: HBO's 'Pee-wee as Himself' offers a revealing look at a brilliant performer who often hid his inner life behind an alter ego that became a pop culture phenomenon. loom.ly/kiqWhxg
