One of the values Allen Institute is Creativity. Last week we had a power outage and we also lost vacuum. We did have a small amount of standby power. We still had one sample to start imaging. Our SOP uses a vacuum to sample prep. Listen to what Josh did.

Normally our lab runs like a well oiled machine. Then something happens like a power outage. In these moments of chaos I think the #spatialtranscriptomics team shows that they can solve any problem with a little ingenuity and teamwork.

I am tired. I will no longer fight for those who will willingly sacrifice me and my children. People should understand you can’t say you support or love me then vote for someone who doesn’t value my existence.
