Santa dropped by to deliver some presents to our lovely YN class.

Miss Stansfield and Miss Kelly started 2024 with a bang. Nothing better than Fire Marshal training to start a new term.

Lovely assembly launch for myHappymind for the children this morning. We're really excited to learn more about how our brain works.

The school nursery came in today to show us how to wash our hands properly. We did a fantastic job and washed all the germs away.

Lots of gingerbread men being made in reception today, fortunately none of them ran away!

The reception children had a visit from Harrold and Lucy from Life Education. They learnt all about their bodies and how to keep healthy.

6DL had a lovely first day at The TFD Centre for our IntoUniversity Focus Week. We took part in seminars linked to the various types of engineering. IntoUniversity

Day 2 of 6DL's IntoUniversity Week on engineering was another success. We focused on aeronautical engineering, trying to drop an egg from a height without it breaking! IntoUniversity

6DL visited Bradford Industrial Museum as part of their engineering focus week with IntoUniversity

We had lots of animals come into Y1 today. It was lovely to see all the children excited to meet them all. We saw a bumble-bee millipede, a giant African snail, hissing cockroach, white knee tarantula, an Argentinian horned frog, corn snake, a lizard and some mice.🐍🕷🦎🐌

For Science week, Y1 melted white, milk and dark chocolate 🍫 to see which melted the quickest. It was a really fun experiment to do and it was the milk chocolate 🍫 that melted first!

We're overwhelmed by the response to our Easter competition. Thanks to our children and parents/carers for putting in such a huge effort. Miss Stansfield has some very, very difficult choices to make.

The children had a fantastic time at St Swithen's Farm today, feeding and brushing the animals. The children were incredible as always. So many happy faces. 😊 Swithens Farm

The children have been enjoying exploring their new outside area in the sunshine. There were lots of happy smiley faces.
