Last week, our scholars (and chaperones) went to the Thurgood Marshall Courthouse! This was a learning experience that was attended by student council representatives from each New York High School campus. Scholars had a great time watching real lawyers and judges at work!

This week, we held the inaugural DPNY 6th Grade cross-campus Civics Fellowship at the Academy for American Democracy The New York Historical. Scholars learned about the history of Greek and American democracy at the museum and participated in a simulation of Athenian direct democratic voting!
