We are delighted that For Women Scotland has been successful in its appeal to the Supreme Court, and that the position of the Scottish Government has been rejected. The court has given the right answer: the protected characteristic of sex – male and female – refers to reality, not

We are delighted that the UK Supreme Court has ruled unanimously that sex and sexual orientation in the Equality Act are biological and not a matter of paperwork! A huge win, and we are so grateful to For Women Scotland for fighting so many years to get here ❤️

So many of us women, including me, have been the subject of years of harassment, complaints, investigations, sackings, deplatforming, & social shaming for just saying what the Supreme Court said today. Let "No Debate' be seen as the bigotry it was #SupremeCourt #ForWomenScotland

The strangest thing was no being able to clap or question or do anything when the judge announced sex in the Equality Act meant female. The lovely lady I sat next to, and I just grasped each other's hands. It was such an incredible moment.

Now the Supreme Court has established that trans-identified men are not women in terms of the 2010 Equality Act, perhaps Keir Starmer could reply to the letter I sent him three years ago? The one pointing out that women in @uklabour were being bullied for saying so.

“This is not about transphobia, it’s about protecting women’s rights, which means you have to know what a woman is.” 💥💯 Maya Forstater expertly & calmly explains the implications of the UK 'woman' ruling in the face of an unsympathetic host & interrupting male trans guest 👏👏👏

I’m gender critical - Arts Council England discriminated against me when deputy director Simon Mellor ‘opened the door’ to my harassment, following the withdrawal of a grant in suspicious circumstances to LGB Alliance No good reason to mention it today - just a reminder to Arts
