This spring is currently the driest on record but it won't be by the end of May with rain & showers over the weekend and next week. A wetter end to May and start to June thanks to low pressure. Further into June it may turn drier again with higher pressure weather.metoffice.gov.uk/long-range-for…

Great turn out Pontypridd parkrun this morning! River Taff is low but more rain at times forecast. Highest rainfall totals on the hills and mountains in the south and west and in Eryri.

The weather has improved today. Nice Hay Festival but all change tonight with a warm front bringing more rain and drizzle. Tomorrow cloudier and windier than today with damp patches, mainly in the south and west and on the hills and mountains. Drier to the lee of high ground.

This spring has been very sunny and dry! The sunniest on record in Wales. Provisionally the 6th driest & one of the warmest on record. June will start changeable or unsettled with wind, rain & showers but higher pressure is signalled deeper into the month weather.metoffice.gov.uk/long-range-for…
