Milford Haven recorded 21.3°C yesterday. Cooler today with a high of 17.5°C A little warmer tomorrow with a maximum of 19°C. Some sunny spells tomorrow but scattered showers developing by the afternoon, heavy downpours in places with a risk of hail and thunder.

This spring is currently the driest on record but it won't be by the end of May with rain & showers over the weekend and next week. A wetter end to May and start to June thanks to low pressure. Further into June it may turn drier again with higher pressure weather.metoffice.gov.uk/long-range-for…

Cloud and rain in S Wales this morning has cleared. Turning drier and brighter. Best of the sunshine in the north and west. Sunny in Rhos-on-Sea. A few scattered showers developing in mid and S Wales this afternoon, heavy in places with a risk of thunder. Dry and cool tonight.

More unsettled and windier over the bank holiday weekend. Saturday cloudy with outbreaks of rain and drizzle. Sunday drier and brighter with scattered showers. Sunny intervals and showers on Monday, heavy in places. Changeable next week with some drier, brighter interludes!

The weather station near Capel Curig, Eryri dropped to -0.8°C last night with a touch of frost. Much milder and cloudy tonight thanks to a warm front with rain then drizzle. A low of 10°C rising to 12°C with tropical maritime air!

Today is the last of the fine weather for a while. Changeable and windier over the bank holiday weekend. Some rain, drizzle and showers. Sunday the driest and sunniest day. Wet and blustery at times next week. Some significant rain but some drier, brighter interludes as well.

Great turn out Pontypridd parkrun this morning! River Taff is low but more rain at times forecast. Highest rainfall totals on the hills and mountains in the south and west and in Eryri.

The weather has improved today. Nice Hay Festival but all change tonight with a warm front bringing more rain and drizzle. Tomorrow cloudier and windier than today with damp patches, mainly in the south and west and on the hills and mountains. Drier to the lee of high ground.
