I have many, maaaany complaints about KINGDOM OF THE CRYSTAL SKULL, but at least I can sorta occasionally recognize Spielberg in there somewhere. DIAL OF DESTINY has none of the flair or breathless pacing of Spielberg even at his worst. It's pretend fun. It's a pretend movie.

The new #FantasticFour movie feels like they listened to Jason complain about the ethical dilemma from Infinity War. Jason couldn’t fathom that they wouldn’t sacrifice Vision. Fantastic Four presents a much more interesting dilemma.

Jason’s next “Jason’s Choice” will be Predestination (2014)! What are your thoughts on this small sci fi thriller? Jason said it’s “the tightest time travel movie I've ever seen.”

Desert of the Reel Podcast Without a doubt the tightest time travel movie we've seen. It doesn't do too much. Doesn't distract you with glitz and flash to cover plot holes. It's a good story that stands on its own, deftly told by actors that genuinely care about the movie.

Other movie podcasts, do you find more success and positive feedback from sticking to one specific series/franchise/etc at a time, or from covering a different movie/topic every week?

Desert of the Reel Podcast I like it, and there are giant swaths of it that put 99% of all summer sequels to shame, but the world would be markedly improved if we hadn't exhausted ourselves with PIRATES movies.
