Our season ended earlier than we would have liked last night at the hands of a great Manville team. That said we have so much to be thankful for this year starting with our first division title in five years and our first state tournament win in five years.

We cannot be prouder of our seniors Joel, Ryan, Luke, Danny, Shamari and Zedarn. Your effort and leadership brought us back to this point. Thank you all. You are forever Destroyers and last night showed us how much that means to you. Your imprint on our culture will last forever.

For the young guys, you have plenty to live up to. For today things can continue to hurt. Then we get back to work and keep building because have a division title to defend next year.

What happened to Manville Boys Basketball the last two years is an absolute shame. Both were teams that were good enough to win a section and twice lost to non-public teams playing in a Group 1 section. Just an awful way for a run with a legendary player for a program to have to end.

Congrats again to Ryan, Jamael and Danny for their fantastic years. Well deserved All-Division honors for all three.

Next week is the return of our annual seniors vs faculty basketball game on Tuesday, June 3rd at 6:30 pm at Faber. Rosters will be announced tomorrow.

Tomorrow is our annual senior vs faculty game at 6:30 pm at Faber. Come out and see if the class of 2025 can become just the third class to defeat the faculty.

Thank you everyone who came out to support tonight. It was an incredible turnout and another really fun game. Congrats to the seniors for their hard fought victory led by big scoring efforts from Ryan Hutchins, Danny Watts, Joel Cruz and Zedarn Mathurin.

We also were happy to have a really cool moment tonight as our last 1,000 point scorer Drew Johnson presented our newest one, Ryan Hutchins, his commemorative basketball.

Really proud of the fight and growth from our guys already this summer. Still plenty to learn and figure out considering how many guys are stepping into new roles and responsibilities but we have already grown plenty in just two games.
