đź“– A nice Friday read landed in our đź“® today. The Plantidsskrift on climate featuring an interview with CET PhD IdolEater and an article on local climate policies with CET director HĂĄvard Haarstad and colleagues @HegeHofstad Trond Vedeld from the #democlim project OsloMet

Electric vehicle paradise? Out at last, here's a paper led by IdolEater with me, HĂĄvard Haarstad and Kjetil Rommetveit on the value chains of green extractivism, in a collection on the afterlives of extraction edited by Filipe CalvĂŁo Matt Archer Asanda Benya journals.openedition.org/poldev/5406

Good spot @lars_coenen, nice to see there's other keen readers like you writing for Bloomberg CityLab like David Zipper - and top work led by IdolEater in this case so also very heartening to see JPI Climate & MAGICA ROLES project outputs coming in handy for policy-relevant discussions! Fantastic paper out by mates I feel privileged to work with (Shayan Shokrgozar, IdolEater Ryan Stock), provocatively and aptly entitled: “We Have to Convince Them Whatever it Takes:” The Climate Necropolitics of Energy Transitions in India and Zambia! sciencedirect.com/science/articl…

Some years ago, HĂĄvard Haarstad, Kjetil Rommetveit and I cooked up an idea, landed funding for a PhD project, then hoped whoever we hired would take ownership of it. What better person to see this chapter through to fruition than IdolEater, who led it well. Lovely to see this in print!
