July 24, 1983- Bobby Allison and Darrell Waltrip battle during the 1983 Like Cola 500 at Pocono. The 1983 NASCAR Winston Cup Champs team had won the previous three races at Pocono. Bobby led the most laps (58) but had to settle for third, while Waltrip led 50 laps and finished runner-up.

Well, we all know how 1982 went and unfortunately for Ricky, he wasn't with us!

We love this picture, for obvious reasons.

We know DW was mad, and perhaps rightfully so, but every point mattered. Bobby was just trying to keep DW from scoring as many points as he could.

He always was!

Damn right we won it!

It's almost like DW was a generational talent who would beat anyone, anywhere, anytime.
