Tumbuh Bersama Pandemi Segala sesuatu boleh slow down, melambat akibat pandemi. Namun tidak demikian dengan pendidikan anak usia dini. Hari-hari mereka adalah masa emas, jadi tak boleh ada yang berlalu begitu saja tanpa EDUKASI, STIMULASI dan SUPERVISI.

"Bu tetangga saya usia 2 tahun kecanduan tik tok", ini adalah contoh sangat jelas dari hilangnya Edukasi, Stimulasi dan Supervisi. Dimana peran parenting orang tuanya?

Dari Buku How to Keep Your Kids Safe Online ini, hal penting yang bisa dilakukan ortu untuk mencegah kecanduan gadget adalah membuat sebanyak mungkin "Tech Free Environment", salah satunya dengan membaca.

Tak harus buku mahal atau buku khusus, kadang buku segala usia pun bisa diceritakan pada anak-anak usia dini. Justru karena mereka sedang sangat perhatian detil pada bahasa, kalimat-kalimat rumit itu akan menstimulasi mereka.

Hakeema (3 tahun 3 bulan) sebelum tidur bertanya: "Bunda Orang kaya se kecamatan itu apa?" dia teringat buku yang dibacakan kakaknya. "Apakah Hakeema tahu orang kaya itu apa?" Lalu terjadi diskusi panjang

"Kecamatan itu apa?" Lalu Bunda menjelaskan. "Kalau Se itu apa?" tanya Hakeema lagi. Memahami sebuah kalimat abstrak itu menjadi obrolan panjang pengantar tidur. Mari Ayah Bunda pendidikan anak-anak kembali bersama kita. Pandemi masih belum sirna.
