In Judiciary Committee yesterday I supported #SB92 which will protect small businesses & other employers from frivolous lawsuits that have impacted their ability to be competitive. I’m proud to support #PAGAReform which will help our economy grow.

This is a tragedy with a robbery in my district. Thank you Newport Beach Police who made the arrest after a chase up to LA & the first responders for keeping so many people safe. My heart and prayers go out to the family of those killed and injured today.

Excellent news. The Governor & Legislative Democrats have pulled back on their plan to trick voters with a competing, less aggressive initiative to address retail theft & crime in our communities #CALeg

My deepest sympathies to Patricia and her family. Thank you to the outstanding Newport Beach Police Department for the amazing arrests of the suspects within hours of the tragic incident.

Californians have a voice this November when it comes to addressing retail theft. Check out my segment on AM 870 The Answer with Jennifer Horn & @Stinchfield1776 to learn more! omny.fm/shows/the-morn…

Violence is never the answer. Keeping the families of those who lost loved ones in my thoughts, as well as former President Trump. Thank you to the Secret Service agents and law enforcement for their quick action.

We experienced a profound & tragic shock to our political system. Violence has no place in our society. I am grateful that former Pres Trump escaped a horrific assassination attempt. I am grieving for Corey Comperatore’s family & wish a speedy recovery to the other victims.

“If we don’t have beaches, if they are eroded, we don’t have a local economy,” said Assemblymember Diane Dixon, who helped spearhead the discussion. “We do not have the hospitality industry, we don’t have the business industry that depends on our beaches.”

This Audit is timely given the recent legislative debate to address retail theft in California. I am not surprised by these results. If anything, they confirm that more needs to be done to address crime in our communities #CALeg auditor.ca.gov/reports/2023-1…

Welcome Senator Marie Alvarado-Gil to the Republican Party. I look forward to working with you on issues important to Californians: reducing crime and addressing affordability, and improving life in California! #caleg

I am disappointed #SB94 was moved from the inactive file and has the potential to be voted on so close to the end of the Legislative Session. If this bill passes, it will be devastating for victims' families throughout California. These murderers are the worst of the worst.

As the State Assembly enters the last week of the 2024 Legislative Session, I am keeping a close eye on if #SB94 is amended or comes up for a vote on the Assembly Floor. #CALeg

I am pleased to hear #SB94 will not be brought forward for a vote before the end of the 2024 Session. This measure would have ignored the clear will of the voters and allowed the worst of the worst criminals to be considered for release from prison. Victims deserve better. #CALeg

I am deeply concerned about the #publicsafety implications of #AB1333, which if passed would significantly diminsh the rights of residents to protect their homes and families. It is a fundamental principle of law that "your home is your castle" and you have a right to protect it.

I was saddened to learn of the terrorist attack in Boulder, Colorado that injured many, including a holocaust survivor. I am keeping the victims in my thoughts and am horrified about the rise of anti-semitism across the nation and world.

I applaud the @southcoastaqmd Board on their rejection of proposed amended rules 1111 and 1121. Bi-partisan elected officials and residents have fought against these rules for months to protect residents and business owners from these unfunded electrification mandates. I

I support the right to peacefully protest. However, these protests have quickly turned violent across Southern California. Thank you to the many brave men and women in law enforcement who are working hard to keep our communities safe.
