Excited to share I am here at Swarthmore College, first week as an assistant professor! Grateful for all guidance, support, and continuing mentorship from Ron Zuckermann, Jeffrey S. Moore, and @Dichtel and many more mentors/colleagues along the way β€οΈ

We also celebrated Luke Skala for successfully defending his Ph.D. thesis on using macrocyclic host-guest chemistry to create materials with emergent properties. Luke is a creative scientist and inspiring leader, and will head to Johns Hopkins APL next. Luke, we will miss you!

We are elated to share our groupβs #PFAS destruction work led by Brittany Trang published today Science Magazine

I have an op-ed today in Undark Magazine. @Dichtel recently admitted he would've said I was "decidedly unlucky" in the first half of my PhD. I was lucky he saw the value in those 2+ years of failure. Publish-or-perish academia doesn't, and needs to: undark.org/2022/11/10/steβ¦

Will @Dichtel and #NUchem alum Brittany Trang were listed C&NE's Year in Chemistry 2022 for their recent research on #PFAS. πππ #CleanWater #science

Honored to have been selected for the U.S. National Science Foundation GRFP fellowship! Ready to keep doing exciting research with DichtelResearchGroup and helping to make Northwestern Chemistry a great place to be a graduate student π§βπ¬ Thank you to @Dichtel Milner Group at Cornell University and Katie Gesmundo for all of the support!

Congratulations to Dr. Xavier Aguilar-Enriquez on a successful Ph.D. defense today! His work on monomer and 2DP isomerism revealed powerful techniques for synthetic control. We wish him the best of luck at Promega Corporation!
