Stem cell collection has changed little since I did first one myself at Tata Hospital Bombay in 1981. The machine was in chemotherapy ward and not blood bank. History -had occasion to donate and run the machine together. Collection for my recent bmt at Sarvodaya faridabad

Was exited to do first stem cell collection at Tata Hospital Mumbai as a resident doctor in 1981.Then purchased cell separator cobe spectra in 94-95 in Indore .Did stem cell transplant- bone marrow -in 1997. Now collecting stem cells at Sarvodaya Hospital Delhi, a long journey.
