As we commemorate 50 years of the Biological Weapons Convention, Ireland 🇮🇪 will continue to work, including with our EU 🇪🇺 partners, to strengthen the Convention and protect the world from these illegal and abhorrent weapons.

Today marks 28 years since the Chemical Weapons Convention entered into force. The CWC is one of the most successful disarmament treaties, resulting in the elimination of over 72,000 tonnes of CWs. Ireland is steadfast in its commitment to a world free of chemical weapons. #OPCW
