Hereās the facts under The Labour Party Wes Streeting if you are trans. This isnāt melodrama - how it now actually is in the UK: āļøIf you go to the NHS and tell them you are trans, you will be directed to mental health (even though being trans is not āmental healthā). Youāll then have

Zinnia Jones, bsky @zinniajones.com šš There is a very active & concerted effort to ensure anti-trans figures are in positions of authority across the NHS, especially in trans children's care. This is an acute & powerful threat to trans children's healthcare rights, with risk of abuse & conversive practices.

HORRIFIED to see this The REAL challenge we are facing here in the UK. Cass Reviewers & NHS staff involved in the care of Trans adolescents at the openly gender critical conference SEGM - yet not one of them attended the WPATH symposium As reported by Erin Reed @erininthemorning.com on Bsky

The Council Of Europe has just condemned Wes Streetingās NHS puberty blocker āresearchā as unethical according to the Orviedo Convention on Human Rights & Biomedicine(1997). It is also unethical according to⦠The Helsinki Declaration (1979) & The Nuremberg Code(1947)

This sort of very clear plan to try and eliminate the rights of a minority in broad daylight is classic far right activity. It's not supposed to be protected in any way, and yet our political establishment, including the Reem Alsalem UNSR Violence Against Women and Girls are listening extensively to anti-rights groups.
